Clean and controlled.
The moment a recurring negative or low value thought appears, say “Not relevant” and stop engaging with it immediately.
Do not argue with it.
Do not analyze it.
Cut it off.
Spend no more than five minutes practicing this interruption.
The power is in the speed.
When you block a thought before it completes, your brain begins weakening the pathway that produces it. Over time the pattern loses strength because it is no longer reinforced.
Today you did not fight your thoughts.
You filtered them.
