Today’s Frequency
Today's word is Portion.
Not scarcity, not competition. The amount that is yours, arriving on its own schedule.
Someone else's full hands take nothing out of yours.
Your portion has your name on it already. Nothing about it is up for competition.
A word for you, Darling
You noticed what was not there before you noticed anything else today.
The message that did not come, the name that was not on the list.
You are very good at seeing the gap, and you have never once practised counting the rest.
A conversation with the Universe
She checked the box at eleven and again at two.
Both times empty. Both times she closed it fast, as if the emptiness might be seen.
At four a neighbour pulled out a thick envelope and carried it up the stairs under her arm.
She looked at her own small door and did the arithmetic she always does.
Her whole visible year against one afternoon of her own. Everything she could see against the inside of a small brass box.
You are counting one hour of one box, said the hall. Look up.
The lobby was full. Flowers someone had put on the table for everyone, a parcel already collected and resting by her own door, light coming in the way it does at four.
Comparison is not a moral failure. It is a measuring error.
You have been weighing her whole year against your afternoon.
The Station Was Never Off
Darling, there is an old radio in a story someone once told me.
A woman inherits her grandmother's radio. It only plays static now.
She spends a week turning the dial, hunting for something new to replace what she assumes is gone.
Then one evening, she barely brushes the dial the other direction.
The same station her grandmother used to play returns, mid-song, like it had been playing the whole time under the static.
The universe says: I did not go anywhere. You were only tuned half a turn away.
The signal was never off, darling.
It was only buried.
There is a short sound pattern built for exactly this kind of retuning.
Three minutes. Eyes closed.
Nothing to force.
You are not becoming someone new tonight, darling.
You are only turning the dial back.
Manifest this too, darling.
The Practice
Write down three things that have already arrived this month, named exactly.
Not blessings in general. The specific ones, with dates if you have them.
Counting what came tunes your system to arrival. Counting what did not tunes it to absence, and the field answers whichever list you keep.
Say it with me
I count what came. My portion is arriving.
Manifest this, Darling
Your portion is not late and it is not smaller.
It is not being handed to her instead of you. There is no instead.
Nothing you are waiting for is being spent on someone else.
The universe is not running a queue where her turn costs you yours. It is filling your hands while you are still looking at hers.
