A conversation with the Universe
She is standing at a friend's front door in the late afternoon, and she has pressed the bell.
Four seconds pass. She presses it again.
Behind the door, her friend is already halfway down the hall with a dish towel in her hands.
By the third press it has stopped being a greeting. It has become a small argument with the door.
The universe is standing on the step beside her, entirely unbothered.
It was answered the first time, it says.
She says she could not hear anything.
That is the only thing that happened, it says. You could not hear it, so you decided it had not started.
Pressing it again does not make her come faster. It only tells her something about how you are waiting.
You are not failing to attract it. You are interrupting it with the sound of your own reaching.
The Practice
Ask once today, clearly, and then do not follow it up.
Send the one message, name the one want, and let the rest of the day pass without checking it. A request made once carries a different frequency than the same request made four times.
